On the way to the fishing village, do not forget to stopover at the Ao Yai viewpoint which gives you the most picturesque view of an authentic fishing village protruding out of the island landmass into the sea. The village is spread over 500 metres and built entirely on stilts. The colourful houses on the blue sea is a visual treat.
