Rayong Province is located in eastern Thailand, on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, near the border with Cambodia. Its capital is the city of Rayong. The region is famous for its tropical fruits (pineapple, rambutan and durian) and also for its seafood (lobsters and squid). Rayong is Thailand’s leading manufacturer of fish sauce.
