Ostrovno – an agro-town, the center of the Ostrovsky village council in the Beshenkovichi district of the Vitebsk region of Belarus. Located on the shores of Ostrovno, Dolgoe and Polkhovka lakes. Lake Melkoe is located near the village of Zamelochye and belongs to the basin of the river. Ostrovnitsa (lion. Tributary of the Zapadnaya Dvina river). In the north it is connected by a narrow channel with Lake Dolgoe.
