The shrine of Abbas is the shrine of Imam Hussein Ibn Ali, peace be upon him, and the shrine of Abbas bin Ali is located in Karbala, Iraq in the year 680 AD. The two shrines are revered by Shiites who visit them every year, especially in the month of Muharram on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hussein Ibn Ali, peace be upon him.
