Mazatlán is home to one of the oldest and most important deep-sea ports in the Mexican Pacific. Like every port, it has a lighthouse with its own name: the Mazatlán Lighthouse, built on the top of the ancient island El Crestón; This historical and natural amalgam is a valuable heritage of all Mazatlecos and a reference for Sinaloa to the world.
