Zilkale, also known as Zirkale, is a castle located in the Fırtına River Valley within the borders of Çamlıhemşin district in Rize. The exact date of its initial construction is unknown.
The castle, believed to have been built in the 14th or 15th century, was used until the late 1800s. It consists of eight bastions and a watchtower. Access to the Zil stream, which serves as a defensive moat, is via a staircase. The castle is designated as a first-degree archaeological site.
